Okay so.. I owe people who read my stories and care a huge apology because real life is an insane endless loop and when I have time to write, I spin my wheels and never actually finish anything.  

That being said, I have a few things in progress that I would love to finish and post.  I’m not dead yet and I’m still loving the show, I basically multiship like FedEx so I’m working on things in several pairings, and there you have it.

If I’m needing to read, I’ll usually check out smc-27, tiltingaxis, or jlangblues first.  Or go through anyone I’ve favorited on FF.  Or read actual books, too.  I just finished the Delirium trilogy by Lauren Oliver and I’m starting up Silver Linings Playbook by Matthew Quick.

Why label this fic Finchel when it’s clearly only about Finn?

I labeled this a Finchel fic because, it’s not ‘clearly only about Finn’.  It ends with them as a couple so I chose to label it about them as a couple.  It’s one possible journey he takes to be the person he needs to be so that they can be together without another end.

To be fair, though, this is what I said in my description, too:

He hates it here. He hates himself, he hates her, he just sort of hates everything and he can’t really stop himself. That’s the problem with moving. Once you start you can’t really stop it, and moving and hating aren’t really that different in that respect; hating himself for hating in general is gonna get old really fast. Finn-central overview oneshot post 4x04.

I’m not sure what you expected and I’m sorry if it disappointed you in any way, but I still consider it a Finchel story because it ends with them together and happy in New York and I don’t plan on changing how it’s listed or how I do things in the future.  Thanks for reading.

Hahaha umm…. apparently being independently minded and not writing stories that cater to fandom-related bullshit?

Like, a year ago though.  I think maybe people are getting a little twitchy waiting for the new season.  And maybe they think I’m too stupid to come back at them because I write Finn and he’s not usually that quick-witted?  

I don’t know, basically.  I just have theories.

Aw thank you.  I really appreciate it.  I honestly don’t mind constructive criticism or even discussing different points of view, but this is just a little ridiculous.
